During No Doubt’s performance at Coachella on Saturday (13.04.24), Olivia Rodrigo surprised the audience by joining the band on stage.

The young singer, known for her hit “Vampire,” teamed up with the reunited group to sing their 2000 single “Bathwater.” Olivia, wearing a tank top with the words “I 3 ND,” shared verses with frontwoman Gwen Stefani, and the duo shared a hug before exiting the stage together.

Both Olivia and No Doubt were making their Coachella debuts, marking a special moment as the ‘Just a Girl’ singers performed together for the first time in nine years since their hiatus.

The band kicked off their set with “Hella Good” and delighted fans by performing classics like “Don’t Speak” and “Just a Girl,” as well as deep cuts such as “Different People,” “Happy Now?,” and “Total Hate 92.”

Olivia recently praised Gwen, calling her a “true artist” for her versatility and authenticity in exploring different musical styles while staying true to herself.

Reflecting on her admiration for Gwen, Olivia shared, “Gwen’s ability to evolve and explore different styles of music, songwriting, and aesthetic while still remaining true to herself is incredibly inspiring. To me, she’s a prime example of an artist who defies stereotypes and preconceived boundaries.”

Discovering No Doubt’s 2000 album, ‘Return of Saturn,’ at age 15, Olivia found a deep connection with the themes of the record. She highlighted Gwen’s fearless expression of female experiences and emotions in her lyrics, describing them as relatable and heartfelt.

Describing Gwen’s lyrics, Olivia explained, “Gwen sang about being a woman moving about this world in detail that I had never before heard put to music. There’s so much heart in every word she says, and every song feels like it’s ripped from the diary of the coolest girl you know.”
